On March 29, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the Community Market located at 139 NW 5th Ave in Delray Beach, Florida. The victim, 25-year-old Nicholas Taurent, was involved in an altercation inside the store that escalated into gunfire. Following the shooting, Taurent was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Delray Beach Police Department responded to the incident at 6:49 p.m. and initiated an investigation. The police found that the altercation involv ...
