On May 5, 2015, Enrique T. Fikes, aged 25, was found dead from a gunshot wound in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred at approximately 12:13 a.m. near Northwest 18th Avenue and 53rd Street, where police responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered Fikes on the ground.
