In the small town of Ocilla, Georgia, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of Monday, June 24, 2024. On that day, 14-year-old Marcaulen Downs was shot on Frank Road. He was rushed to Irwin County Hospital, but the gunshot wound proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
