In the late afternoon of May 2, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in Brookhaven, Georgia, that cut short the life of 13-year-old Cristopher Emanuel Garcia-Portillo. Known to his loved ones as 'Tito Juan,' the young male was in the 3500 block of Buford Highway at around 5:30 p.m. when an altercation took a fatal turn.
