In the small town of Lumpkin, Georgia, a dispute on a quiet Friday afternoon tragically cut short the life of 34-year-old Jason Alexander Jones. On April 26, 2024, the Lumpkin Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of Main Street around 12:15 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jason Jones, a Black male, deceased in the front yard of a residence.
