Stephanie Neal, a 34-year-old White female, was killed in Savannah on March 24, 2024, after gunfire shattered the early-morning darkness around a homeless camp at 761 Wheaton Street, in the 700 block of Wheaton. Savannah police said officers were called at about 2:35 a.m. on reports of a gunshot and found her suffering from a serious wound.
