On March 9, 2024, 37-year-old Bilal Jabbar Williamson was fatally shot in the 200 block of West 61st Street in Savannah, Georgia. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert around 10 p.m., Savannah Police officers found Williamson with a serious gunshot wound. He was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
