In the winter of 2024, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Austell, Georgia. Twenty-year-old Kenneth McGrew, a Black male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Friday, January 26th. The incident unfolded on the 1300 block of Riverside Parkway in Cobb County, where police were dispatched just before 1:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered McGrew suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
