Rebecca Williams, a 41-year-old White woman from Augusta, Georgia, died on January 14, 2024, in a shooting inside the home on Holden Drive that she shared with her husband, Michael Williams. Deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were called to the residence around 9 p.m., and when they went inside, they found Rebecca dead from at least one gunshot wound. Not far away, they also found Michael Williams dead from what authorities described as an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
