In the city of Atlanta, on December 11, 2023, 38-year-old Stephanie Brooke Alderson was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. A female, her body was discovered in the afternoon in a vehicle in the Capitol View neighborhood, at a location on Cox Avenue SW associated with a towing company. Responding to a call, Atlanta Police found her unresponsive in an industrial area surrounded by autobody shops and junkyards. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
