In the summer of 2023, the life of Alex Troy Knighton, a 43-year-old male from Tifton, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of July 31st, gunshots rang out in the 1700 block of Belleview Circle. Knighton was a victim of a drive-by shooting that also left an 18-year-old injured. Both victims were transported to Tift Regional Medical Center, where Knighton was pronounced dead.
