In the summer of 2023, a young man’s life was tragically cut short during his shift at a local restaurant in Lithonia, Georgia. Sixteen-year-old Jacob Johnson was working at the IHOP on Panola Road on July 15th, a job he had taken to earn money for a new wardrobe before starting his junior year at Martin Luther King Jr. High School.
