Bobby Lyons, a 17-year-old Black male, was caught in violence on the night of July 7, 2023, when Columbus police were called at 9:41 p.m. to the 1200 block of Gazebo Way at Arbor Pointe Apartments. Officers found him suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed him to Piedmont Columbus Regional, but the hope of that summer night gave way to tragedy the next morning.
