In the summer of 2023, a violent encounter in Mableton, Georgia, claimed the life of 35-year-old Marquel Gammage. On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 21st, Cobb County Police responded to a report of a shooting on Whispering Pines Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered three men, two of whom had sustained gunshot wounds.
