In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 10, 2023, the life of 25-year-old Jamie Bernard Burton Jr. was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. Responding to a call of shots fired at the Westlake Apartments around 6 a.m., Chatham County police officers discovered Burton's body in the breezeway of one of the buildings.
