In the spring of 2023, the life of Rasheeda Williams, a 35-year-old Black transgender woman known to many by her stage name Koko Da Doll, was tragically cut short on the streets of Atlanta, Georgia. On the evening of April 18th, police responded to a call of a person shot near a shopping plaza in the southwest part of the city.
