In the spring of 2023, the life of 38-year-old Sheldron Lamar Mallory, a Black/African American man, was cut short by an act of gun violence in Atlanta, Georgia. On the evening of April 7th, police were called to a home on McClendon Circle in the northwest part of the city. Behind the residence, in a wooded area, they discovered Mallory's body. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but tragically, nothing could be done to save him.
