In the early morning hours of January 14, 2023, a domestic dispute in a Lilburn, Georgia, home ended in the shooting death of 45-year-old Felipe Velasco. Gwinnett County police were called to a residence on Fox Forest Court around 12:40 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Velasco inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
