In the early hours of January 8, 2023, the life of 33-year-old Montrez De'Leon McAlister was tragically cut short. A Black male and resident of Fairburn, Georgia, McAlister was a son and a father. On that fateful morning, just before 2 a.m., he was seated at the bar of Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant on Ella Lane when a man entered the establishment.
