Marisa Welz Dister, a 46-year-old resident of Wheeling, Illinois, tragically lost her life in a murder-suicide incident on April 11, 2024. The event occurred at the home she shared with her boyfriend, Russell O’Connor, 44, on the 300 block of 12th Street in Wheeling.

The bodies of Marisa Dister and Russell O’Connor were discovered by a friend, Bill Napp, who had gone to check on Marisa after she failed to show up for her 4 p.m. shift at the Old Munich Tavern & Grill, where she worke ...
