Ashley Griggs, a 40-year-old resident of Chicago, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on July 16, 2023, in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Washington Boulevard. Griggs, who was the mother of Ohio State football player Carnell Tate, was shot multiple times and was taken to Mt.
