Kevin Laron Thunderbird, a 36-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on June 5, 2023. The incident occurred in the 5100 block of South Dorchester in the Hyde Park area of Chicago's South Side. Thunderbird was walking when a vehicle approached, and someone inside the vehicle fired shots at him. He was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
