In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Indianapolis, tragedy struck a young family. On June 25, 2023, 25-year-old Bomani Marsh, a Black male known to many as Boi, was fatally shot on the near northwest side of the city. The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. in the 2700 block of Doctor M.L.K. Jr Street, near West 27th Street.
