On the morning of July 21, 2023, Alvaro J. Andrade, a 33-year-old Hispanic male, was found with gunshot wounds while sitting in the driver's seat of his Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residence at 188 Winthrop Street in Taunton, Massachusetts. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 7:40 a.m. following reports of shots fired. Andrade was quickly transported to Morton Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after 9:00 a.m.
