In the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 5, 2023, the life of 19-year-old Keanu Michael Nunu Lorton, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting. Known affectionately as "Nunu" to his family and friends, Lorton was a resident of Portland, Oregon. The incident that claimed his life unfolded in the Portsmouth Neighborhood of North Portland, a place he called home.
The shooting occurred at approximately 2:38 a.m. in the 8400 block of North Exeter Avenue.
