On a late Tuesday night in June of 2024, the life of 20-year-old Jibril Tariq Liles, an African American male, was tragically cut short in the Shively neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Just before midnight on June 4th, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of Clinton Place. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jibril suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
