In the early morning hours of October 22, 2023, in the Taylor Berry neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, 45-year-old Crystal Lynn Fultz was shot and killed. Police responded to a call about a shooting on Berry Boulevard shortly after midnight and discovered both Fultz and a man with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where Fultz ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The male victim sustained only minor injuries.
