On the evening of Friday, March 24, 2023, the life of 23-year-old Maliyah Daniel was tragically cut short. A resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana, the young mother was found inside a room at the Motel 6 on Airport Hotels Boulevard in Louisville's Edgewood neighborhood. Louisville Metro Police responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 9 p.m. and discovered Ms. Daniel, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
