On the evening of August 29, 2024, 39-year-old Trene Walls was driving northbound on Interstate 110 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At approximately 6:30 p.m., as she was near the Evangeline Street exit, another vehicle pulled up alongside her car. Without warning, shots were fired from the other vehicle into hers.
