In the early morning hours of August 19, 2024, the life of Courtney Aundra Grogan, a 39-year-old female from Lake Charles, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call for assistance, Lake Charles Police officers discovered a grim scene inside an apartment on Bradley Street. Courtney and her companion, 40-year-old Cyrille Mitchel Jr., were both found deceased. The investigation quickly turned into a double homicide case, leaving a community in shock and a family devastated.
