A trip to New Orleans for a family bonding vacation ended in tragedy for Christopher Oatts Jr., a 39-year-old man from Florida. In the early morning hours of June 22, 2024, Oatts was walking back to his hotel in the 600 block of Bourbon Street with his cousins when he was struck by a stray bullet.
