On a Sunday evening in Marrero, Louisiana, the life of 30-year-old Doren Lee Scott, a male, was tragically cut short. On April 21, 2024, at the Ridgefield Apartments located in the 2800 block of Mt. Kennedy Drive, Scott was shot multiple times. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call regarding the shooting at approximately 6 p.m. and found him wounded on the ground.
