In the spring of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Monroe, Louisiana. Dominic O’Shay Dickens Dome, a 23-year-old Black man, was killed on the evening of April 13th. Better known to some as 'Dome,' Dickens was also a local rapper who went by the name “Glizzy 5.” The incident that led to his untimely death unfolded at a residence on South 6th Street.
