In the early hours of a Sunday morning, on March 10, 2024, tragedy struck in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, forever altering the lives of a local family. KaVon Dwayne London, an 18-year-old Black male, was killed in a shooting that erupted around 1 a.m. in the 2200 block of Scenic Gardens Avenue.
