In the evening hours of Wednesday, February 14, 2024, a dispute at an RV park on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge escalated into a fatal encounter for 20-year-old Sergio Estuardo Baleu-Cucul. A physical altercation between Baleu-Cucul and another individual preceded a terrifying chase through the park. Armed with a firearm, the assailant pursued Baleu-Cucul before ultimately shooting and killing him. The suspect then made a swift departure from the scene in a silver SUV.
