An 18-year-old male from Belle Chasse, Seth David Chedville, was fatally wounded in a shooting at a gas station in New Orleans East on January 14, 2024. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Downman Road, where gunfire erupted from a gray SUV. Two other individuals, a male and a female, were also wounded in the shooting.
