In the early morning hours of Friday, December 1, 2023, the community of Port Allen, Louisiana, was disturbed by a grim discovery at William & Lee Park on Louisiana Avenue. A man, later identified as 51-year-old Ronnie C. Moore, was found deceased inside a blue car around 7 a.m. An investigation by the Port Allen Police Department, with assistance from the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, quickly determined that Moore had been shot.
