On the afternoon of May 10, 2023, tragedy struck in New Orleans when Reynaud Shields Jr., a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 1:30 P.M. in the 4500 block of St. Claude Avenue. Shields was struck by multiple gunshots and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
