In the early hours of Saturday, April 15, 2023, the life of 16-year-old Jakai Quinn was tragically cut short in a triple shooting in the St. Claude neighborhood of New Orleans. Jakai, a student at Warren Easton Charter High School/The Net Gentilly, was known by his friends as 'Kglizzy' and had a passion for rap music, leaving behind lyrics that reflected his love for the art form.
