Michael Mike Robert Comp, a 40-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot in Topeka, Kansas, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. The incident occurred in the evening, and when police arrived on the scene in the 2000 block of SE 29th St., they discovered Comp with life-threatening injuries. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds. The initial investigation into his death was soon reclassified as a homicide.
