On September 15, 2024, at approximately 2:57 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 5900 block of East Miami River Road in Cleves, Ohio. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Joseph Ian Mathias Gladwell suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Western Ridge, where he was pronounced dead.
Following the incident, the Hamilton County Police Association’s SWAT Team assisted in searching a nearby property
