On the night of July 30, 2023, 18-year-old Tayveion Gregory Murphy was fatally shot in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred around 10:43 p.m. in the 500 block of Noble Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Murphy lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m.
