On May 13, 2023, 53-year-old Gary McConaha Jr. was found deceased with apparent gunshot wounds to his head and leg inside an abandoned home on Hamlet Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. The discovery was made after a woman, searching the neighborhood for her belongings following a reported burglary at her home, came across McConaha's body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
