On the morning of February 25, 2023, at approximately 7:35 a.m., 31-year-old William Hackney was discovered unresponsive inside a vehicle parked in front of a residence on the 700 block of Dunbar Drive in Akron, Ohio. The vehicle, found by a woman who noticed her car riddled with bullet holes, contained Hackney, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
