On February 8, 2023, Jovon Ferguson-Lynch, a 34-year-old woman from Cleveland, Ohio, was tragically killed in a domestic violence incident. The crime occurred at her home near Huntmere Avenue and East 161st Street in Cleveland.
Joshua Lynch, the 35-year-old estranged husband of Jovon and father of their 7-year-old daughter, was identified as the suspect in this horrific case. According to court records, Lynch shot Jovon in the head while their young daughter was present in the home.
