On an autumn evening in Salisbury, Maryland, the life of 32-year-old Tevin Mumford, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On October 28, 2024, shortly after 7:30 p.m., Maryland State Police troopers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800-block of West Road. Upon their arrival, they found Mumford suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed by ambulance to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased.
