In the late afternoon of September 27, 2024, Dion Damon Huff, a 49-year-old Black male, was walking in the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland. At approximately 4:00 p.m., Northern District patrol officers on patrol discovered him lying on the ground. Upon checking his condition, they realized he had sustained a critical gunshot wound to the upper body.
