In the late afternoon of September 14, 2024, a dispute in Silver Spring, Maryland, tragically escalated, ending the life of 35-year-old Carlos Alberto Ortiz. The male victim was discovered by Prince George's County Police officers in a wooded area on the 9200 block of New Hampshire Avenue around 4 p.m., suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
