On the evening of September 11, 2024, Richard Evans, a 41-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the Western District of Baltimore. The incident occurred at approximately 10:28 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Calhoun Street, where police responded to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Evans suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical attention but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
