On July 21, 2024, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Baltimore Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Mondawmin Metro Center, located in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds: 14-year-old Jasper Davis and a 19-year-old whose identity has not been disclosed. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals, where Davis succumbed to his injuries; the 19-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
